The most beautiful beaches are situated in the North of Peru close to the Ecuadorian border. The best known beaches are Máncora in the department of Tumbes and Punta Sal in Piura. The long sandy beaches of Peru are the ideal place to relax and enjoy the Sun and heat. The water is warm and for 360 days a year there is blue sky and Sun, making this destination a perfect place to relax after intensive cultural visits in the Peruvian highland or after hiking tours in the Cordillera!
The Northern coast can be reached by plane starting from Lima to Tumbes. We recommend a 3-day stay in Máncora either using the route Lima - Tumbes - Lima or as additional program after visiting Chiclayo with return flight Tumbes - Lima.

Day 1:
In the morning flight Lima - Tumbes or overnight journey by coach from Chiclayo to Tumbes. Transfer from Tumbes to Máncora (1 ½ hours). Lodging in very comfortable bungalows, situated directly on the beach with swimming pool.

Day 2 -3:
Day on the beach. Optional excursions in the North to the National Parks, fishing, horse-riding, surfing (the North is a surfer´s paradise), thermal baths and more.

Day 4:
In the morning transfer to the airport of Tumbes. Return flight Tumbes-Lima.
