You will be picked up at an early hour in your hotel and brought to the port of Puno. At the beginning of your trip, you get competent information about the basics of lake Titicaca - its location, importance, history and uniqueness.

Your first stop are the floating islands of the Uros. These artificial islands are handmade from reed by the members of the Uro tribe. The Uros just speak a little Spanish, they communicate in Aymara, one of the official indigene languages of Peru. Of course, your guide translates for you and offers you in this way the opportunity to ask more questions about traditions and normal day life of the Uros. Finally, the women of the island invite you to their houses, also made of reed.
