Vivencial Tours organizes programs which do not only include the visits to natural and cultural attractions, but also the opportunity to experience the real life situations of the rural population. As a guest of a farming family and sharing the daily life with the farmers, visitors can gain a unique perspective on Peruvian life. The special feature with this kind of initiative is that the farming familiy directly benefits from the income generated by this project. This kind of tourism contributes to the development of the communities in the region.

Vivencial Tours offers accommodation in the villages of Encañada as well as in Sulluscocha in the surroundings of the city Cajamarca. The accommodation in Encañada is in the house of the family Abanto. This family has 8 members living in the same house. The tourists rooms are in a modern part of the building, to which they have their own entrance. The Abanto family offers 2 rooms which can be occupied by 3-6 persons.
In Sulluscocha the guests live at the family Huamán´s house, a family with 6 members. The guests are accommodated in two rooms, one can host up to 3 people, the other up to 13 people. You eat with the familiy, with the same food and in the same manner as they would normally congregate to eat, so as to learn more about their traditions, their way of life and the delicious Peruvian cuisine.

During your stay you can participate in the daily work and tasks, where you become acquainted with the animals on the farm, harvesting methods and a lot more. You also can take part in the village life, do trips into the surroundings or hike on the Qhapaq Ñan, the ancient Inca trail which once led from Ecuador to Chile passing by breath-taking landscapes.
In the evening you can listen to the stories of the Cajamarca farmers, their myths, legends and traditions. By also telling them about your life and your so different culture you will be able to contribute to a unique cultural exchange which will definitely enrich your experience.
